About CSFF-The 6th China International New Media Short Festival

The 6th China International New Media Short Film Festival was held from 13^th, May, 2015 to 18^th, May, 2015 in Shenzhen, which was comprised of four sections: KingBonn Award Competition, International Short Film Screenings, KingBonn Short Film Outdoor Screening Carnival in Guangming and TEF Conference of International Short Film Directors.

CSFF was in search of a translating & subtitling company to translate and make subtitles from over 20 languages into Chinese for their short films.

The Challenge

• Project: Multilingual movie translation and subtitling
• Volume & Turnaround time: More than 160 short movies to be translated and subtitled from over 20 languages into Chinese in 15 days
  
• Transcribing difficulty: Some movie characters speak with huge accent, making it difficult to transcribe
