• Consecutive Interpretation
  Consecutive interpretation is generally suitable for small, intimate group settings with few languages (two or more) where the interpreter and speaker(s) sit next to one another and speak via a microphone if the event is being held with a large audience or in a large room. WeMaven offers consecutive interpretation services in over 40 languages. 
  
  
• Simultaneous Interpretation
  A much more complex and strenuous interpretation mode than consecutive interpretation, simultaneous interpretation is generally preferred for many events including large conferences/meetings or settings with two or more languages. Simultaneous interpretation requires two or three interpreters per target language who work in turns, alternating at regular intervals (usually every 20-30 minutes).   Whispering Interpreting is where the interpreter sits next to the person needing to understand the foreign language and whispers what's being said in their ear.
