Your role as a Marketing Assistant is to support the marketing manager to deliver the marketing plan and reposition brand awareness.

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Previous experience within a similar industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal skills as well as numerate and problem solving skills.
• Experience of using a website content manager and social media management are advantageous.
• Experience with engaging with outside agencies – PR/Design/Digital is advantageous.

• Arrange and participate in trade shows and build relationships with trade bodies
• Create targeted and timely campaigns
• Use marketing systems to promote product offers
• Ensure PR and social media activities are market leading in the language service industry

• Experience of delivering effective marketing plans and generating value from marketing activities.

• Ensure our brand is accessible, powerfully presented and consistent
• Monitor and control marketing budgets across your segment
• Deliver best-in-class marketing briefs
• Act as an expert in your field, keeping colleagues informed on key milestones and providing clear, authoritative recommendations

Requirements

• MA or Bachelor degree, preferably in English or other related fields, formal training in translation as well as work experience abroad would be strong assets.
• At least 2-3 years of practical experience in the field of translation. 
• Advanced computer skills, including MS Office programs and CAT tools.

• Excellent knowledge of all MS Office Packages, 
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills. 
• Previous administrative experience in a Project Administration/Project Coordination is required, similarly coordination experience would be extremely advantageous.
